The Young Kings will participate in the WIS Event held in NJ/PA May 2nd through 6th. The Young Kings 2006 team won this event in 2023 and in 2024, our teams Coached by Tom Bunting, and the late Tony Voce all had Top 8 finishes or better.

Brought to you by the team responsible for the World Selects Invitational - Philadelphia event, which featured dozens of current NHL players and hundreds of NHL draft picks, we are excited to take this event to the next level through Play Hockey.  The WSI is one of the most heavily attended Midget events yearly, featuring over 150 coaches and scouts from NHL, CHL, NCAA, Prep and various junior programs.  The World Selects Invitational will offer not only incredible competition and exposure, but an elite-level hockey experience that is unmatched. 

2025 EVENT INCLUDES
5 Game minimum, plus playoffs. Teams can play as many as 9 games
Player Combine run by The Park Sports (The Park Sports Facility Inc.), who does several NHL and OHL combines
Each player will get combine apparel with tournament logo on it
World Selects Invitational program for each player

Individual player awards
Championship and Finalist medals for each player
Team Trophy and Championship Belt for Event champion team in each age group
Exposure to over 150 NHL, NCAA and Major Junior Scouts
